Once again, we have been blessed to be recognized for the work that we are doing. South Cleveland Water Supply Corporation has been awarded the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Proactive Award for 2021 as part of the Public Drinking Water Recognition Program.

South Cleveland Water Supply Corporation has also been recognized as a Superior Water System by the TCEQ, awarded the Innovative Award from them for 2020 and now have been awarded the Proactive Award for 2021.

We were awarded the Small System Excellence Award from the Texas Rural Water Association in 2019. This award is presented to one small water supply system that stands out among others in the state of Texas each year. We are currently working on joining the Source Protection Program with TCEQ.

They do not allow you to win these awards consecutively so others may have an opportunity. Many great things are happening here! We hope to keep up this trend.

The TCEQ has conducted recent Comprehensive Compliance Investigations (CCI) and reviewed our records to determine that we meet the standards in accordance with 30 Texas Administrative Code 290.47.

We take great pride in providing excellent water quality and services. We want you to feel confident with our water and services and know how hard we work at making sure your water is the best. We are ranked with the best of the best and have put up the signs to reflect this to all. Watch for our Source Water Protection signs going up soon alongside the others!

Winners of Public Drinking Water System Awards

Public water systems that go above and beyond the minimum requirements can be recognized by the TCEQ for their efforts. The Texas Public Drinking Water (PDW) Recognition Program recognizes the effort, dedication, and contribution public water supplies make to the state and to protecting public health of all citizens. TCEQ extends this program to all water systems in the state. Each year, water systems in Texas will be recognized for their outstanding performance for the preceding calendar year.
